Lisa & Mike’s Waterfall Elopement at Llanos de Cortés

Lisa and Mike are adventurers at heart, and their dream was simple: an intimate elopement in front of a waterfall, just the two of them. Working with their planner, Blue Butterfly Events Costa Rica, that dream came together on a sunny morning — arriving an hour before the waterfall officially opened, so the entire place belonged to them alone before any tourists arrived.

Their first look set the tone for everything that followed — quiet, real, unhurried. The ceremony itself carried an emotional surprise: Mike, a guitarist, had written an original song for Lisa, and played it for her right there among the trees and the sound of falling water. It was the kind of moment neither of them will forget.
