What is a surprise engagement session?
You come to Costa Rica and we plan the perfect proposal together: at a volcano-view lookout in La Fortuna, beside a waterfall like El Tigre, Llanos de Cortés or Nauyaca, or deep in the Monteverde cloud forest. We handle the timing, the arrival and every detail, so all you have to do is show up and ask. Here’s exactly how it happens:
- We wait nearby, completely out of sight, until the moment is just right.
- Only you and we know it’s happening.
- We’re already in position at the waterfall — or wherever you choose — minutes before you arrive.
- We’ll give you a quiet signal when it’s time to ask.
- We capture every detail, rain or shine — we’re there for you either way.
And we mean rain or shine: around 80% of our sessions have some rain in the mix, and rainy photos are some of the most romantic images we shoot.
