We Were Bored, So We Decided to Elope in Costa Rica
Mau and Karen, a young Mexican couple, decided to break free from routine and embrace the adventure of eloping in Costa Rica.
Laughing, they admitted it wasn’t some long-planned dream — just a spark of spontaneity that turned into one of the best decisions of their lives. Drawn to nature’s raw beauty, they chose Llanos de Cortés Waterfall as the backdrop for their vows.
Their ceremony was deeply emotional, the roar of falling water standing in as witness to a love that needed no audience but themselves. They let the moment carry them — no script, no performance, just two people fully present with each other.
What came out of it wasn’t just a wedding album, but proof of how far a little spontaneity can take you.
