Devin and Casey’s story began as a secret months in the making. Devin wanted to create an unforgettable proposal, and coordinated every detail in advance — including Casey’s outfit, chosen specifically to stand out against the green and brown of the waterfall trail. Casey had no idea any of it was planned.

We arrived at El Tigre Waterfall ahead of them, waiting at the meeting point without raising any suspicion — just another couple of hikers with a camera, blending into the trail. The moment Devin and Casey arrived, we started shooting, capturing every step up to the proposal itself.

Casey’s excitement was impossible to miss the second she realized what Devin had planned. Her answer came fast, and unmistakably certain: yes. The session carried on right there at El Tigre, the two of them fully in the moment, soaking in a setting neither of them will forget.
